The crew was dishonest and predatory, arguing with my wife about the quote and bullying her into paying an extra $300 to finish the job. This company is extremely disrespectful and lacks integrity. Here's the full story: We received an estimate to do the work for $1,750 from Justin. It was a good price, and the next best price was from Cordwin for $2,050. I called Justin back to hire them, and then Nicole called me to schedule. I told her I would be unavailable the following Monday and Tuesday because I'd be gone for a work trip, so any other days worked better. We scheduled for that Thursday, but then they needed to cancel. Nicole sent me a new scheduled time for next Monday while I was going to be away on my work trip, so I texted her back to request a new date. I never heard back from Nicole. Then I heard from Grant, the Operations Manager, that I don't need to be on site, and he'll be there personally to text me updates throughout the day. I told him as long as he texts me updates, then I was okay with Monday. Monday comes and goes. It's now a few days later, and I don't hear anything from Grant or anyone else at the company ever again. They came to do the work on Monday, and they tried to leave the house after only doing about half the work on the quote. My wife went out to ask them to do the rest of the work, and the guy started arguing with her that she doesn't understand what the quote is saying. She asked them to explain what THEY think the quote means, and the guy finally said fine, but he wouldn't do it for that price and bullied her into paying them an extra $300 to finish the work on the quote. She paid them the extra $300 because she just wanted to get the work done. It's Saturday and the company still doesn't tell me ANY of this. Now today I get a generic letter in the mail asking for a five-star review and I could not be more angry."

Grant Cohen and his brother Justin got the permits, scheduled the removal within days, and arrived on time to do the job. The tree was situated in a fairly small area with a fence on one side, a retaining wall on one side, a deck and pool enclosure on one side, and the house on the other side. They removed the tree in sections; putting the branches at the road and stacking the sections of wood so my son could load them for his use. They cleaned up the removal area and even were going to put the sections of concrete curbing back that they had to remove; I told them to leave them since I had planned to remove them. Within 2 hours they were back and had removed all the waste that they had piled at the road. I will be using them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs trees trimmed or removed."
